JUNE 7, 2026
14.00 - 17.00
A Family Joy
Marjon Hoogervorst & Milan Groen
A special pop-up this time at Amsterdam Artspace.
Photographer and visual artist Marjon Hoogervorst presents her work alongside that of her son, Milan Groen, in a unique duo exhibition.
Marjon works with cyanotype in an untraditional way, pushing the boundaries of this historic photographic process. Her 2D images emerge through a sensitive interplay of light, material, and time—guided by a deep awareness of both what is visible and what unfolds beneath the surface. The result is a layered visual language that feels both tactile and introspective.
In contrast, Milan explores the world in 3D. His playful, tactile smiley sculptures arise from experimentation with materials and an intuitive creative process—each piece a distinct expression of spontaneity and character.
On June 7, their works meet for the first time in a vibrant creative dialogue at Amsterdam Artspace—where two perspectives, two generations, and two dimensions come together.
“Smile and the world smiles back.”
BLUE MOODS

EXPO ENDING SOON
Sometimes, a colour, a shape, or a shade can make you see something. Sometimes, the way someone moves, sits, or just is can make you stop. The photographs exhibited here are random moments capturing a spark, a feeling, a nostaliga, or a scene. They show how the photographer Josie Seipp perceives Blue Moods: as a deep, open, and calm state of being.
