About

Amsterdam Artspace was initiated by Daniella Groenberg and Elish van Eijk, a Dutch designer duo from Amsterdam and founders of Greenberg+ Oaktree, a studio for interior design and styling, in the middle of the creative buzz of the Czaar Peter neighbourhood in Amsterdam.

Both have had successful careers in theatre production and visual communication until 2016 as they decided change course to the max.

Based on their love and passion for art, design, travel, photography, architecture and fashion, they started as the designer duo Greenberg+Oaktree.

After finding a beautiful working space in a former milk- and grocery cornerstore, they moved in here with a small team. As interior designers they wanted to fill the still empty walls at the new workspace. So they decided to share a post in their (social) network, spoke with many artists and unknown talents and before they knew it, they could fill an entire programme with striking, special, diverse and above all a lot of beautiful art.

After a few years of many various exhibitions, they now focus on accessible artforms for art lovers and (young) art collectors. They only showcase work that touches, makes curious, inspires, delights or offers comfort. And of course will match perfectly with (their) interior design projects.
